100 Days of AWS Workshops

I’ve decided to go through a list of workshops provided by AWS. If you havent run into workshops before and you work in the cloud I’d suggest you take a look at the vast number of workshops there.

There are lists from 100 level labs, which aim to help you learn the basics of AWS services, down to 400 level labs. The 400 level labs are built built by SMEs in the AWS ecosystem and they are designed to dive deep into some aspects of the AWS services.

Why now? #

What peaked my interest is that there are over 100 labs available now. At this point in my career, I’ve done less than 10 of them and thought that if I wanted to get my handle on the basics of a large number of AWS services, I could dive right into the labs. I’ve built infrastructure on AWS, serverless solutions, and delivered security solutions on AWS. This web site is powered by a Hugo deployment that runs custom git actions and pushes over to an Amazon S3 bucket and hosts the website on Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Lambda. Let’s see what other things can fit into my little AWS account!

What is in it for me? I’m a bit curious to dive into the services and the workshops created by the AWS community. I often stop myself from doing the workshop because it doesnt match my current use case that I may be working on. I want to remove that barrier and just begin and learn.

Where to start? #

To start, I think it best to dive right into the 100 level workshops. Now on the workshops website, I cannot filter by lab level. I can only filter by text in the title of the workshops themselves.
